Access Guide: Madarao Kogen

From Tokyo

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes). From Iiyama Station, take the direct shuttle bus to Madarao Kogen (approximately 30 minutes). Shuttle buses run several times per day during ski season.

By Car

From Tokyo, take the Kanetsu Expressway to the Joshinetsu Expressway, exiting at Toyota-Iiyama IC. Follow signs to Madarao Kogen. Total driving time is approximately 3 hours. Free parking is available at the resort.

Local Transport

Madarao Kogen is connected to Tangram Ski Circus via a shared slope, and a combined pass covers both resorts. Shuttle service is available between the resort and Iiyama Station.
