Access Guide: Togakushi

From Tokyo

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes). From Nagano Station, take the Alpico Bus bound for Togakushi (approximately 60 minutes). The bus stops near the ski resort entrance.

By Car

From Tokyo, take the Joshinetsu Expressway, exiting at Nagano IC. Follow the Togakushi Bird Line road up to Togakushi Kogen. Total driving time is approximately 3 hours. Free parking is available at the resort.

Local Transport

Buses run between Nagano Station and Togakushi several times daily. The Togakushi area is compact, and the ski resort, shrine, and village facilities are within walking distance of each other.
