Ryuoo

Ryuoo Ski Park is a vertically impressive resort with 18 courses spanning an enormous 1,080 meters of vertical drop from 850m to 1,930m. The resort is anchored by its massive 166-person aerial ropeway that connects the lower mountain to the famous SORA terrace at 1,770m, a stunning observation platform known for its spectacular sea-of-clouds views in the early morning and late afternoon.

The upper mountain above the ropeway station receives heavy snowfall and features some of the best tree skiing in the northern Nagano region. Designated tree run zones through natural forest provide exceptional powder days. The lower mountain offers well-groomed intermediate and beginner runs, plus night skiing on select courses. Nearby Yudanaka and Shibu onsen towns offer excellent hot spring accommodations, and the Jigokudani Monkey Park is just a short drive away.
